The mission of the Red Clay Valley Association's education programs is to educate watershed residents in the Red Clay Valley through meaningful experiences, with an emphasis on hands-on field activities, that demonstrate the interconnectedness of living organisms and the watershed on which they rely.

The Myrick Conservation Center is located on Route 842, 6 miles west of West Chester and three miles east of Unionville in the beautiful rolling hills of Chester County, PA. The Myrick Conservation Center is a 318-acre property featuring natural areas that include stream, forest, field and pond communities as well as agricultural land which includes a one-acre organic garden and crop fields that are farmed to demonstrate "best practices" to students of all ages. These programs are available at the Myrick Conservation Center.


Your School or Nearby Natural Area - Does your school property include a garden, wetland, forest or stream? Or, maybe your school is within walking distance to a park? Save money on the bus! We'll come to you! These programs are available as outreach.
