Who sleeps during the day at the Myrick Center? Search for signs of slumbering animals, make nocturnal and diurnal mobiles and play nocturnal games. But remember, be quiet while exploring, you don't want to wake any animals up! $100 members/$150 nonmembers
Wet N' Wild Child

Enjoy a water filled week at the Myrick Center to keep cool! Explore the pond, stream and other watery places and play lots of water games. Beat the summer heat by being a wet n' wild child! $100 members/$150 nonmembers
Follow the Rainbow

There are plenty of different colors to be discovered in the garden, in the forest, around the pond and near the stream at the Myrick Center. Use your senses as you discover a rainbow of colors and follow them in search of treasure (and the leprechaun that stole it)! $100 members/$150 nonmembers
Squiggle and Squirm
August 6 - August 10
Squiggle and squirm your way through the week just as many legless creatures do. Learn how these animals move around. Dig for worms, turn over logs to find slugs, use a net to catch fish and search the forest for snakes. You will even try moving around without your legs! $100 members/$150 nonmembers

Identify an animal by its scat. Dissect an owl pellet to discover what the owl's eaten. Search for egg masses in the pond and stream. You'll even take a hayride to the Barn at Spring Brook Farm and help with the animals. This week is all about the kind of gross, yet amazing wonders of nature! $180 members / $230 nonmembers
Wacky Water Week

What lives in the pond and the stream and how do they survive in a watery world? How low can you go while playing water hose limbo? How dry can you stay while participating in water relays? How far can you throw a water balloon? Discover the answer to all these questions and more while enjoying an extra wet week of camp! $160 members/$210 nonmembers
Time Machine

Here's your chance to time travel! Hop in a time machine and go back to the age of the dinosaurs, visit a Lenape village, and even play games in the Colonial era. Return to present day for some traditional Myrick Center Summer Camp games before travelling to the 22nd century for a futuristic endeavor. Every day is a chance to explore the Myrick Center through time! $160 members/$210 nonmembers
Mighty Ducks and Other Birds
July 16 - July 20
Ducks are amazing swimmers, hawks are acrobatic predators and hummingbirds flap their wings up to 80 times per second! Plus, there's one bird that will really quack you up! You will dissect an owl pellet, go on bird walks, use binoculars, explore bird habitats, make a bird feeder and learn bird calls. This week is sure to be a hoot! $165 members/$215 nonmembers
Trash to Treasure
August 6 - August 10
Creativity will flourish this week as you turn trash into treasure. You will be challenged to save the baggies, juice boxes and wrappers from your lunch to make into a masterpiece. You will explore the stream, pond and forest to learn why reducing, reusing and recycling is so important. You will even learn how food scraps can help our garden grow! Share your treasures with your family and friends at your very own Recycled Art Show on Friday. $160 members/$210 nonmembers

Green Builders
June 25 - June 29
Some assembly required. No experience necessary. You will spend this week building forts in the woods, constructing blue bird houses and designing boats and bridges. You'll even visit the Morris Arboretum to walk through a canopy of trees for inspiration. Top off the week with a tubing trip down the Brandywine Creek to see some functional architecture. $265 members/$315 nonmembers
Girls' Nature Camp / Boys' Nature Camp

Back by popular demand! Yes, it's an ALL GIRLS' CAMP and ALL BOYS' CAMP! Your camp will choose from a huge list of activities to design your own week of camp. You can catch frogs at the pond, build a fort, learn about edible plants, practice yoga outdoors or cook lunch over a fire and much, much more! Combine forces later in the week for a game of skill and speed and for a combined tubing trip down the Brandywine! $230 members / $280 nonmembers
Animal Allies

Calling all animal lovers! You will have all kinds of cool escapades with aquatic and terrestrial animals at the Myrick Center and beyond. You'll go fishing at a nearby pond, look for animals while you tube down the Brandywine Creek and meet some recovering animals at a local wildlife rehabilitation center. Your camp will even choose an animal, from the rehab center, to adopt with a portion of your camp fee. $270 members/$320 nonmembers
Junior Eco Olympics
July 30 - August 3
This week you will pair up with the 10-12 year olds for a week of nature inspired games. You will play a scouting game, create a scavenger hunt, play Lenape games and go Orienteering at the Myrick Center. You will also go on a combined tubing/canoeing/kayaking trip down the Brandywine Creek. On Thursday evening at 7:00 PM, you and your family will be invited to join the senior Eco Olympians for a combined game of flashlight tag. $200 members/$250 nonmembers
Ultimate Adventures
July 23 - July 27
August 6 - August 10
This is the ultimate week of camp adventures. You will go rock climbing at a local gym, fish at a nearby pond, tube down the Brandywine Creek and even roast hot dogs over an open fire. The rest of your week will feature your favorite camp games and adventures to the forest, stream and pond.

The Olympians
June 25 - June 29
It's our second summer at Camp Half-Blood and the Sea of Monsters awaits you. Summon your godlike abilities as you search the Myrick Center and beyond for the Golden Fleece. Can you save Thalia's poisoned tree? You will canoe the Brandywine Creek and take a ferry across the "Sea of Monsters" to visit the "monsters" at the Cape May Zoo. You will leave on Thursday for your sea adventure and camp overnight. Pick up is at 4:00 PM on Wednesday and 3:00 PM on Friday. $340 members / $370 nonmembers
Peddle and Paddle
July 9 - July 13
If you love both water sports and biking adventures then this is the week for you! You will kayak the Brandywine Creek earlier in the week and then leave for a whitewater rafting trip in Jim Thorpe on Thursday and camp overnight. The next day you'll go for a biking adventure on the Lehigh Gorge trail. (Bike rental is included.) Pick up is at 4:00 PM on Friday. $395 members/$445 nonmembers
Water Warriors

Water lovers unite! This is a water-packed week which will have you playing in the Red Clay Creek one day and testing your archery skills the next. You'll also tube AND kayak on the Brandywine. Water havoc will ensue! $300 members/$350 nonmembers
Misunderstood Marvels
July 23 - July 27
This camp will offer you a glimpse into the world of three animals that are now returning from the brink of extinction. This week you will visit Conowingo Dam for a chance to see bald eagles up close and then canoe the Brandywine for a potential glimpse at our local eagle population. You'll also visit French Creek State Park to observe an active beaver dam and see wolves up close when we visit a wolf sanctuary! Drop off on Tuesday will be at 8:00 AM. $295 members/$345 nonmembers
Senior Eco Olympics
July 30 - August 3
This week you will pair up with the 8 and 9 year olds for a week of nature inspired games. You will play a scouting game, create a scavenger hunt, play Lenape games and go Orienteering at the Myrick Center. You will also go on a combined tubing/canoeing/kayaking trip. . You will decide, as a team, how to get to the takeout safely and most efficiently! Camp overnight on Thursday at the Myrick Center and organize a combined game of flashlight tag with the Junior Eco Olympians on Thursday night. Pick up is at 3:00 PM on Friday. $250 members/$300 nonmembers

Shooting Stars
June 19 - June 22 (Tuesday-Friday)
Become a shooting star as you take part in our marksmanship challenge. Learn how to safely shoot a bow and arrow, air rifle, 22 caliber rifle and shotgun. Craft your own spear and slingshots, learn how to throw a tomahawk and discover why accuracy was so important to the Lenape. You'll visit a shooting range to learn how to shoot trap and skeet and spend a day canoeing the Brandywine Creek. Your leader for this adventure will be BVA/RCVA's Executive Director, Jim Jordan, a certified Hunter Safety and Shooting Instructor with over 20 years of experience teaching the shooting sports. This camp will be under safe and strict supervision! All equipment will be supplied, no experience necessary. $325 members/ $375 nonmembers.
Dual Survival
June 25 - June 29
Just like the television show by the same name you will use your modern and primitive skills to survive as a team. You will be dropped off in an undisclosed location and you will have to find your way back safely to the Myrick Center Barn. You will practice your survival and archery skills, learn how to make a bow drill fire and canoe down the Brandywine. As a final reward you will take a Poconos canopy tour via zip line for an experience you will never forget! Zip line minimum size restrictions are 48" (height) and 80 pounds (weight). )$300 members/$350 nonmembers
Eco Rangers
July 23 - July 27
Calling all future CSIs, Park Rangers or anyone who likes to solve mysteries! Animals at the Myrick Center are getting sick and we need your help! Collect and process evidence, interview suspects and witnesses at the Myrick Center and at Saalbach Farm. You will even receive a lesson in Forensic Anthropology at the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia and take a break from the rigors of crime solving by kayaking on the Brandywine. On Thursday night you will organize a stake out to arrest the culprit. Camp overnight at the Myrick Center and then take the accused to trial on Friday. Pick up is at 11:00 AM on Friday. $330 members/$380 nonmembers
Something Fishy
July 23 - July 27
If you like to fish, or want to learn how to fish, this is the week for you! Learn about different types of equipment and how to use it while exploring some great freshwater and saltwater fishing spots. You will learn the art and science of fly casting and how to tie your own flies. You'll fish at a local pond and in the Brandywine Creek. On Thursday you'll head to coastal Delaware for an overnight camping and saltwater fishing expedition. You'll fish off a pier, in the surf and aboard a chartered fishing boat in the Delaware Bay for some inshore fishing. Along the way, learn about saltwater and freshwater ecosystems and fish biology. Even if you participated in the past, there's ALWAYS more to learn! Your guide for this unique journey will be an avid outdoorsman and naturalist, BVA/RCVA's own Executive Director, Jim Jordan. Pick up is at 5:00 PM on Friday. $495 members/$545 nonmembers
EARLY BIRDS 8:00-9:00 AM ($30/week)
It's quiet at the Myrick Center early in the mornings. It's the perfect time for birding, tracking, using a sweep net, and snacking in the garden. Allow your camper to get a head start on his/her camp day by arriving at 8:00am.
EXTENDED DAY 3:00-5:30 PM ($60/week)
Is your camper sad to leave the Myrick Center at 3:00pm each day? Why not stay until 5:30pm*? With a different theme each day your child is sure to love every extra minute spent at the Myrick Center!
MUDDY MONDAYS
Explore the stream, pond and other muddy areas every Monday!
TEST IT TUESDAYS
Bring your brain and creativity, Tuesdays are all about experimenting!
WET N WILD WEDNESDAYS
Water balloons, slip n slide, sprinkler, sponges, spray bottles, buckets and more. You are guaranteed to get wet and have a blast every Wednesday afternoon!

Thursdays are your choice! Pick from a long list of summer camp favorites!
FIND IT FRIDAYS
Use the knowledge of the property you gained during the week to complete a scavenger hunt.
*If you wish to pick your camper up earlier than 5:30pm please inform his/her counselor during drop off, otherwise there is no guarantee your camper will be at the barn waiting for you.
