The mission of the Red Clay Valley Association's education programs is to educate watershed residents in the Red Clay Valley through meaningful experiences, with an emphasis on hands-on field activities, that demonstrate the interconnectedness of living organisms and the watershed on which they rely.

You teach locally, so learn locally!

BVA specializes in hands-on watershed education. Since watersheds are interdisciplinary by nature there is no better unifying theme for your curriculum.

Do you want to connect your students to where they live?

Do you want your students to apply what they're learning?

We have workshops designed to fulfill PA Science Standards in Environment and Ecology.
Specifically:

Watersheds and Wetlands
Environmental Health
Renewable and Non-Renewable Resources
Agriculture and Society
Integrated Pest Management
Ecosystems and Their Interactions
Threatened/Endangered/Extinct Species
Humans and the Environment
Environmental Laws and Regulations

We can present at your in-service opportunity, workshop or conference.
